Dr. Jill's Chiropractic Journey

Dr. Jill grew up in a small town near Sheboygan, Wisconsin. As a result of participating in multiple sports while in high school, she suffered a low back disc injury, for which she sought treatment and relief from multiple medical providers. She went through a variety of tests and treatments, none of which were effective. The last resort was a doctor’s recommendation to undergo back surgery. Being only 18 at the time, Dr. Jill and her parents were not comfortable with that approach. Her mom instead took her to see the local chiropractor, and the rest is history.

During the course of her initial chiropractic care plan, Dr. Jill learned that chiropractic is far more than just relieving pain – it is about restoring proper function of the body. That is why chiropractic care is great for all ages! Any time the nervous system is not working properly, the interference must be removed or you will simply be unable to maximize your health potential. For this reason, Dr. Jill continues to get adjusted on a regular basis and strives to empower families to take control of their own health and well-being.

Dr. Jill’s passion for caring for families grew even stronger during her pregnancy and after the birth of her son. She was adjusted regularly during her pregnancy, which led to the natural waterbirth of her son, Bennett. He was adjusted at two hours old and has been checked regularly ever since!

My Chiropractic Philosophy

Dr. Jill recognizes the importance of a healthy lifestyle and believes that it starts with chiropractic, along with proper nutrition and exercise. Dr. Jill’s approach is to treat the whole patient. She utilizes various chiropractic adjusting techniques, including Diversified, Activator, and Thompson. Dr. Jill is also certified in the Webster Technique, which is a specific technique to balance the pelvis and is particularly effective for pregnant women. She will tailor her adjusting style to any patient, using gentle and effective techniques. She is an active member of the Chiropractic Society of Wisconsin (CSW), the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA), Epic Pediatrics, the National Wellness Foundation, and Business Networking International (BNI) Verona chapter.

On a Personal Note

When not in the clinic, Dr. Jill enjoys experiencing the Madison area with her family. She and her husband, Brady, attend sporting events, visit their local farmers market, and explore the city. She also enjoys the simple pleasure of family time with her husband, son, and their chocolate lab Maya, as well as just being outdoors and being involved with the community.
