How Does Your Body Adapt to Stress?
At Family First Chiropractic of Verona, we utilize INSiGHT technology. This state-of-the-art system scans your body to determine your nervous system’s level of function. The scans taken by it measure how well your nervous system adapts to stress, which we call “The Three Ts”: traumas (physical stress), toxins (chemical stress) and thoughts (mental/emotional stress). If your nervous system isn’t adapting to stress as it should, it may be due to a spinal misalignment called a subluxation. With these subluxations, your nervous system can’t work as it should, and you won’t be able to reach your full potential.
Our Three Scans
All of the scans taken with the INSiGHT technology are 100% safe for infants, children, pregnant women and adults. They give us valuable information to see if you can benefit from chiropractic. The scans consist of three parts: surface electromyography, heart rate variability and thermal. sEMG (surface electromyography). Your nerve signals are responsible for the balance and 
strength of the muscles that run along your spine. sEMG detects nerve disturbance and how your body recovers from it.
We can look at how the information going to your brain is flowing, the balance of your neuro-musculoskeletal system and the energy from your nervous system to your brain. Heart rate variability. We’ll get a look at your body’s stress levels and its ability to adapt to stress. Without a reserve of resources to cope with stress, your healing and restoration can’t occur as they should. Thermal. We want to get an inside picture of how your glands and organs function. Your body’s temperature gives insight about inflammation and irritation that occurs in your stomach, sinuses, ears, lungs, immune response and every other organ.
Getting Your COREscore
Your tests are compiled into what is called a COREscore. This score can be thought of like a report card for your current health. It’s used as a marker so that we can observe and measure changes as you continue care with us.
